Oh yes, do I remember this gig! Sooo many negative things about this gig. Firstly it was a hell of a long haul for a Sunday, secondly the weather was miserable all the way there and all the way back, thirdly I was coming down with flu again so felt like utter crap, fourthly the venue was a very awkward shape and layout leading to great difficulties mixing (it was our own pa) resulting in a not too good mix, fifthly the turn-out was poor and sixthly (is there such a word?) the agent failed to pay us the full fee!! Oh yes, one more thing, we grabbed some junk food from a nearby 'bab shop and I ordered a mushroom burger. Mushroom burger! In a 'bab shop! Excellent! Makes a change from the usual run of the mill veggies burgers. All the way back to the van we walked to scoff it out of the cold, smacking my chops thinking of that mushroom burger (mushrooms is pretty near the top of my all time favourite foods) but upon opening it up what did I find? a fricking meat-burger with mushrooms on top 
. No-one else wanted it so out the window it went leaving me with Shane's kindly donated chips, which wasn't that much consolation really as you know what 'bab shop chips are like for lack of salt and vinegar - they barely show the bottles to the chips. So, all-in-all, an arduous journey with little reward. The handful that were there though enjoyed it and we got good feedback.
